“Explore the power of the paper hinge and accordion fold to create multi-layered, pop-up, pictorial diorama books that collapse back into hardbound covers. Work with affordable, portable, readily-available materials and begin with small cards/samples to understand pop-up engineering. Then build two fascinating book structures; a tunnel book and a carousel book. Decorate, varnish, construct simple stands, and collapse them back flat for the journey home. Open to all skill levels.”
