I was an artist-in-residence in Kristinestad, a quaint little shipbuilding town on the Baltic Sea in Finland for the month of August 2019. I cut the windmill facade from four sheets of card stock paper from direct observation up on the hill where it sits, the terrain is very rocky, and many structures date back to the 1600s, many sit perched on the rocks.
