"Eleanora Belltower" papercut art
“Eleanora Belltower” original papercut art with spray paint.
Ready to frame on 11” x 14” mat with plant-based sleeve.
All handcut card stock paper. Original art, one of a kind. Signed JAYork on front, signed, dated and titled on the back.
I was an artist-in-residence in Kristinestad, a quaint little shipbuilding town on the Baltic Sea in Finland for the month of August 2019. I cut the facade from card stock paper from direct observation in the street in front of “Ulrika Eleanora,” the most kooky and fascinating church I’ve ever been in! Also, in Kristinestad, the terrain is very rocky, and many structures date back to the 1600s, many sit perched on the rocks.
